Searching CAR History
After opening CAR History, you will be brought to the Search screen, which will look like this:
If you have come from a job Summary page, the CAR number (which matches the CorridorAccess job number) will automatically be filled in the CAR History Search Filters section. Otherwise, you can manually enter the CAR number if you know it, or do a search by Request Date or Suburb/Town for the enquiry. Click Search to bring up matching Search Results below. Click View to the left side of the relevant request to load the CAR Details. Click Exit in the bottom right corner to return to CorridorAccess.
Viewing CAR Details
After clicking View from the Search screen, you will be shown the CAR Details, which will look similar to the screenshot below:
Your (Applicant) Details are provided at the top, listing your contact information. The Road-Controlling Authority will contact you via these methods if they wish to discuss the CAR.
Below this are the CAR Details which indicate the CAR number, status, and details about the council's Corridor Manager. In the middle of the screen is also shown the CAR Dates and Proposed Work Details (taken from your CorridorAccess enquiry).
At the bottom of the screen you are able to upload required documentation, Print the CAR page, go Back to the Search page, or Exit back to CorridorAccess.
For information on uploading documents, please click here.
Note: If you have just submitted an enquiry, you may need to wait until the CAR has processed and loaded into CAR History.
I cannot find my CAR Request in CAR History
If you cannot view the CAR, this could be due to the job having been lodged under another beforeUdig ID account. If this is the case, either ask the original person who lodged the enquiry to access their CAR, or you may have accidentally lodged it under a different ID in your own name if you have multiple IDs set up in CorridorAccess.
