What is the difference between CAR History and PermitMonitor?

CAR History and PermitMonitor both provide a way to communicate with road authorities via CorridorAccess, the only difference is which service each road authority is signed up with. Some authorities still use the CAR History system, while others have moved over to PermitAccess.

After lodging your CorridorAccess enquiry, your confirmation will show the road authority's status as either "CAR Sent" or "Permit Request Sent". CAR Sent means that your documentation will need to be uploaded via CAR History, and Permit Request Sent means the application will need to be managed within PermitMonitor.
