If you often use the same details when lodging your CorridorAccess enquiries, you can create default settings so that all future jobs automatically fill in some of your Enquiry Details. This can help speed up the process of lodging your requests. You can change these settings at any time.
To set up your default settings for your account, all you need to do is click the Settings button on the top right-hand side of the screen:
The pop-up window below will appear:
In the pop-up window, you can now make your selections. For example:
- Job Purpose: are your enquiries usually Retrospective, Provisional Excavation, Non-Excavation or Events?
- Activity: what is the reason for closing off the road, e.g. Horizontal Boring, or Manhole Maintenance, or Parade? The options provided change depending on the Job Purpose.
- Working on Behalf of: are you normally working for Private owners, a Local Government or a Utility?
- Name of Utility/Authority: are you normally contracted to a particular utility, e.g. Chorus?
- Location of Workplace: are your jobs normally in Private Property, Road Reserve or Both?
- Location in Road Reserve: if Road Reserve or Both selected above, do you consistently work across the whole carriageway, footpath and berm?
- Notes/Description of Works: is there any consistent information you need to pass on regarding your enquiries, or would you like to create a template for your notes section?
Click the Update button once you have made your desired changes. The next time you create a New Enquiry, these fields will be preset on your enquiry form. These can still be manually changed within the form job-by-job as required.
